apologies for the delay in responding. We publish FIT/MTTF data by process rather than by component so that we can maximize the number of device hours and failures in a calculation. For the process on which HMC480 is manufactured, the 60% and 90% FIT numbers are as follows:
λ60 = [(χ 2 )60,2]/(2X 4.54x107 )] = 1.8/ 9.08x107 = 2.02x10-8 failures/hour or 20 FIT
λ90 = [(χ 2 )90,2]/(2X 4.54x107 )] = 4.6/ 9.08x107 = 5.08x10-8 failures/hour or 51 FIT
