Dear Support eng,
I would like to ask about how to bias ADPA7001 using active IC board .
and how to use ADI tools if there were tutorials for using them
Thank you

Hi CEH,
I would recommend the HMC980 to bias the ADPA7001-DIE. Target 360 mA so that you can reach PSAT. Attached are several documents, The bias controller application note, the HMC980 configuration calculator, you supply your operating voltage and desired current and the correct resistor values will be calculated for you.

Hi Jim,
Thank you for your support; I will review your references.
I have another inquiry regarding the control of an array of ADPA7001 amplifiers. Is it possible to control multiple amplifiers with a single connector, or does each amplifier require its own controller? Additionally, if using a single controller is feasible, how should I calculate the number of power amplifiers (PAs) that can be controlled by it?
Best regards,
Mariam
Hi CEH,
You would need an individual controller for each ADPA7001.

Thank you so much for your support ,
but what if i have array of PAs and one controller and switch between them it possible?
