Programming Frequency Through Script

Question

Is it possible to program the device so that it increases its frequency periodically (e.g., each 10&micro;s) and restarts from the first frequency after 500 increments? For example, a 14 GHz starting frequency with 512 increments of 100 kHz would be 14GHz + n*100kHz. If it is possible, does there exist an example code snippet? 
 We have the EVAL-ADF4372 + SDP-S Controller Board 
 I appreciate any help you can provide.

Hi mkahlert ,

Yes, by using the manual calibration, you can design a frequency hopping application. 100uS might be challenging so you need to design your loop bandwidth-wide and use timeouts to reduce the lock time. You can see a sweep section on ACE in the other control section.
you can see the details on the AN-2005 (Rev.0) (analog.com). I am not sure we have an example code for that.
