HI ADI Apps,
My customer ask what is the affect of driving the HMC8192-die with a lower LO drive level, say around 12dBm. I can see from the datasheet that the lowest recommended LO drive level is 16dBm, but what is the effect? All measurements in the datasheet are based on 18dBm LO drive level.
My thought is to boost the LO drive or select source with 16dBm+ & be compliant...
I've directed them toward evaluation with the S-params, in the hope that this gives some clues to the performance.
