Using two ADF5904 to achieve 8-ch Rx for 24 GHz radar. How should the IO control be implemented? (2Tx using ADF4159+ADF5901, 8Rx using two ADF5904))

Hi, 
 Using two ADF5904 to achieve 8-ch Rx for 24 GHz radar. How can two ADF5904 be controlled by the MCU? Do the IO interfaces of two chips need to be connected separately to the main control chip for control, or can they be shorted together for control?

Hi Arnold, 
 CLK, DATA and DOUT pins can be connected as they are standard SPI pins. 
 CE pins can also be tied together for ease of control. However, we recommend managing LE pins separately to control both ADF5904 independently. The below diagram shows the recommended SPI connection. LE pin corresponds to the CS pin.
