IS HMC980 SUITABLE FOR HMC998ALP5E PA?

 I am planning to use HMC980 as Active Bias controller for HMC998 power amplifier. I will be operating the amplifer at 2W ( near saturated output power level). Please let me know whether HMC980 can be used for this case and please share any reference designs, if any.

 Yes, you can use this part with the HMC998. I would recommend using the HMC980 calculator to select discrete components and the App note to help construct your circuit. PDF
