I noticed that there are SPI pins on the EV-ADF4377SD1Z so inferring from that it's possible to communicate with it via those pins. However, do I need to add a series resistor or do anything else to make sure I can communicate with it properly? I am looking to use an Arduino code to rewrite the registers independent from the ACE software.

There seems to be missing registers listed here. Curious to know if it's critical to the operation of the device.

Hi,
These missing registers are not critical to the operation of the device. These 0x07 to 0x09 registers are not connected to any internal digital circuit.
All the reserved register that needs to be changed is given in Table 42.
