How does the adc work in a max2769?

Question

In the datasheet it is mentioned that the ADC can be configured to 3-bits for I-channel, now did this become 3-bit sigma-delta ADC?. 
 Why is the max sampling rate only 50Msps?, there's hardly any room for oversampling. If my rf bandwidth is around 10Mhz i can hardly get 2 more bits from oversampling and assuming it is a second-order sigma-delta adc. 
 is there a way to get atleast a 10-bit resolution?

I'm not sure that you can improve the resolution to the degree that you desire. My understanding is that this ADC resolution is typical of GNSS chips and that there are features of the GNSS systems that facilitate improving resolution such as the fact that the signals you are receiving from the satellite are periodic. So I think that this device needs to be operated in the GNSS ecosystem. If you want to do something else with it that requires much higher resoltion, maybe you need a different device.)
