Performance down to 1 MHz

Category: Hardware
Product Number: HMC784A

Is there any data on the insertion loss/isolation performance of the HMC784A down to 1 MHz? I don't need the performance to be as good as the datasheet, but I'd like to know if it will roll-of or anything like that as the frequency goes down to 1 MHz. It looks like the datasheet plots stop at around 10 MHz or so.

  • Hi,

There will be NO major roll-off of insertion loss/isolation performance of HMC784A down to 1MHz. However, since HMC784A needs DC blocking caps at the RF ports, they should be large enough to not affect the RF performance down to 1MHz.

Moreover, the large signal performance, such as P1dB and max RF input power will be derated towards low frequency end. What would be your max RF input power at 1MHz?

    Regards,

    Zheng
