The search platform does not show if any RF power detector devices have built-in ADC functions and digital comm bus, so it makes searching very tedious and time consuming. I'm hoping an applications engineer can help.
In my application, we have 16-channel receivers that operate from 3 to 100 MHz. We presently use the AD8361 to measure the rms RF output voltage of each receiver channel. The dc voltage output of the AD8361 then goes to the ADC in the microprocessor that controls the receiver diagnostics. We would prefer to obtain digitized data from the rms voltage detector using I2C. This would reduce the number of ports on the microprocessor and also reduce the number of separate traces from the receiver channels to the microprocessor.
Does ADI make a combined device: rms voltage detector + ADC + I2C ?
