Program ADF4371 with SDP-S in Matlab

Question

I'd like to be able to use Matlab to configure the ADF4371 using the SDP-S board as well as utilize the GPIO lines on that for enables. I can configure and write the registers using the ACE software so I'd like to be able to replicate that in Matlab for automating testing purposes.

 Maybe this article will help. How to Quickly Evaluate Data Converters Using ACE with Python or MATLAB | Analog Devices 
 Basically, you can connect ACE with remote control and you can set register values and execute predefined tasks (called recorded macro)
