ADF4151 is capable of sweeping 7-8GHz, but I have not been able to figure out how to trigger the sweep via TX data, or to set the sweep time below 1ms. Are these limitations of the GUI, the chip, or the operator? Thanks in advance, Dan

I actually meant to refer to the ADF41513 - missed the three in my post.
ADF41513 officially does not support ramping, it's not a tested parameter. We reserved the ramp generation registers as there were some issues with the ramp engine so we decided to cut ramp generation support on this part prior to release.
The ADF4159 is the part I'd recommend, even though its performance is not as good as the ADF41513 unfortunately
Thanks for the response - I was looking into that chip as well, but I couldn't find any info about phase syncing - do you know if it supports that?
ADF4159 does not have any phase resync features in there.
The ADF41513 does, but I'm not sure how well it would work with ramp generation as this hasn't been tested by us.
We are having discussion about defining a next generation ramping PLL and the use of phase resync while ramping is something I'd like to investigate
I am now looking into providing a ramping input reference clock for the ADF41513 to get it ramping and then trying to use the resync phase feature as well.
