ADF5610 SDO/GPO

ADF5610 device supports multiplexing of SDO/GPO pin as defined in GPO_SELECT field of register 15, see below the relevant fragment:

The question is what we will see at SDO/GPO pin if for example GPO_SELECT = 3.

    The LD window is the length of time used to determine if the part is locked. As stated on p27 in the datasheet:

    The LD circuit expects the divided VCO edge and the divided reference edge to appear at the PD within a user specified time period (window), repeatedly. Either signal may arrive first. Only the difference in arrival times is significant. The arrival of the two edges within the designated window increments an internal counter. 

    If the LD window is selected in the GPO_Select bitfield. The window duration will be output periodically on the SDO pin. The region where a logic high is output is the LD window duration.
