HMC863ALC4 and HMC752ALC4 supply voltage

Hello Sir,

I am working on PA (HMC863ALC4) and LNA (HMC752ALC4) amplifiers.
I don’t know how to supply voltage them and frankly I don’t have any level in electronics.


When I read their different datasheets, I don't understand how to supply voltage them.

Could you explain me with the images how I should supply voltage them?

                            Both  the HMC863ALC4 and HMC752 ALC4 are FET amplifiers. They have a gate power supply  and a drain power supply. The gate power supply controls the bias point and must always be turned on first. The gate voltage for both amplifiers is a negative voltage. For the HMC863A, the gate voltage range is -2V to 0V.For the HMC752, The gate voltage range is -1V to 0V.

    HMC863A Turn on: 

    1 apply -2V to the VG pin.

    2 apply +5.5V to the VD pin.

    3 adjust VG to the level which achieves Idd of 350 mA.

    Turn off:

    1 set Vg to -2V.

    2 set Vd to 0V.

    3 turn off  the drain supply and the gate supply.

    HMC752 Turn on: 

    1 apply -1V to the VG pins. note tie all Vg pins together

    2 apply +3V to the VD pins. Tie Vd1 7 VD2 together

    3 adjust VG to the level which achieves Idd of 70 mA.

    Turn off:

    1 set Vg to -1V.

    2 set Vd to 0V.

    3 turn off  the drain supply and the gate supply.
