HMC465LP5 RFIN bias

Question

In the datasheet, I found the following description. 
 "The input to this device should be A c -coupled" 
 Can I provide the input signal without ac-coupled capacitor? 
 what is the any restriction to connect DC coupled signal to RFIN?

Hi Ogura.Isao, 
 The RFIN must have an AC coupling capacitor. The RFIN is fed directly to the gate of a FET. Any dc applied at RFIN will change the quiescent bias of the amp and potentially damage the device. Please review the simplified pin schematics on page 5 of the datasheet.
