LT5560 how to connect the LO input for upconvert or downconvert

Hi all,

Our Customer will design the mixer circuits with LT5560.

Please advice to us.

1. When using with a single-ended LO drive, how to connect the LO input (LO+, LO-) for upconvert or downconvert ?

Is it okay to connect to either LO+ or LO- ?
Does swapping LO+ and LO- change the characteristics?

Or is there a recommended circuit configuration and connection method?

2. When using with a differential LO drive, is there a recommended circuit configuration and connection method?

Best regards,

sss

I am not familiar with this part, but pages 12 - 14 of the datasheet have several test circuits showing either the LO+ or LO- input being used in single-ended mode. The unused input is terminated with a cap to ground.
I assume you can use whichever input suits you best (e.g. best trace routing on your board).

Page 17 of the datasheet has more info on the LO input, along with a simplified schematic.
