1). Is the HMC1082LP4E Gain vs Temperature performance data given in the datasheet obtained with the temperature compensation network ?
There is no on chip compensation network for gain vs. temp.
The Vdet and Vref pins are a separate power detector circuit that has no impact on the gain levels. It is used to have a DC voltage measurement track the RF output power of the circuit. Yes, these can be left open if not used.
2). Can you suggest an opamp for the temp compensation network?
I would suggest the AD8531 or AD8541.
