Low frequency analogue VCO

Question

Hi, 
 I&rsquo;m looking for an analogue VCO (or PLL), with these characteristics: 
 - analogue output being a pure sinewave with excellent spectral performance (single harmonic) 
 - the output sinewave frequency ranging from < 1 Hz to 1 or 2 kHz only 
 - the possibility to reset the phase to zero with an external trigger ideally 
 
 Thus, DDS won't be suitable from my understanding. 
 Would AD have any such component by any chance?

Hi, 
 In the RF and Microwave division the lowest frequency VCO we have is a few GHz. In your freq range we have the TimerBlox/LTC6990/LT6992 . But these unfortunately do not have great noise performance since this is not exactly what they were designed for. Also they are CMOS output only.
