Configuring HMC983 CEN(pin 31) for power saving

I'm currently working on a project where it would be beneficial to have an HMC983 power down or sleep when not in use. In the datasheet, pin 31 or CEN is mentioned very briefly for this purpose. I haven't been able to find any other resources online to help explain how to utilize this pin. Does anyone have suggestions for how to accomplish this or any resources you can point me towards?

Thank you

For some HMC devices (HMC704, HMC835 etc.) it is required to set a bit to allow the device to power down when CEN is brought low, or it can also be powered down internally through software.

But for the HMC983 this pin always needs 3V otherwise the device will be powered down. You can pull this pin up to DVDD if you want it always on or you could assign control to a microcontroller to be able to power the device up/down that way
