TDD test HMC1010LP4E rms detector? peak detector !!!

Could anyone clarify and give me any advice?

My customer has a problem about HMC1010LP4E.
HMC1010LP4E is RMS detector.
The Modulation signals and CW signals test of HMC1010LP4E is normally operated of RMS detectors.
The TDD test of this HMC1010LP4E is changed from an rms detector to a peak detector.
I think switching time is the problem.
Am I right?

Is there a solution to this symptom?

Please. Can someone tell me?

    Hi there,

    HMC1010 should always behave like rms detector, not peak detector. Suggest checking the SCI digital input configuration pins which govern the square-domain averaging. Choose an SCI configuration that gives good smooth measurement result with suitable transient response time. Reference datasheet Table 1. Graphs like shown on bottom of page 19 illustrate the importance of correct SCI setting:
