Looking at the schematic for the eval board
I see U2 is a 24LC025-I/ST
I assume that holds calibration data fro the board?
If not what is it for?
If so, is it preloaded at the factory?
I'm not exactly sure about the EVAL-ADL5920-ARDZ, but usually these memory chips are only storing a short ASCII string that identifies the 'shield' board being used. In theory, there's no reason the memory chip could not store the cal data, but I don't think that's being done, currently.
Well, the UI available for the board wants to know from the user the freq of the signal, and corrects (changes) the reading being displayed based on the user-entered freq.
The corr. factor info must be somewhere...
The UI stores the calibration data inside the software, which is on the PC.
