I like to down-convert a narrow band signal (1 MHz bandwidth) with carrier frequency of 24.750 GHz to an IF frequency of less than 10 MHz.
ADF5904 is the perfect solution for my system. But unfortunately the datasheet does not state its performance on frequencies higher than 24.250 GHz .
Is there any filter inside the chip which prevents application of higher RF and LO frequencies or I can safely use this chip for my application?
What would be the expected degradation in gain and required LO drive power in the case of operation for 24.750 GHz?

The gain is as expected over the range of typical operating frequencies, 24 to 24.25GHz. There is aslight decrease from 24GHz to 24.25GHz. This is more pronounced at higher temperatures..(.see…

This is more pronounced at higher temperatures..(.see fig 8 of the datasheet ), After25.5GHz the gain drops off quickly. Looking at our evaluation report, operation up to 24.75Ghz should not be a problem, however, this chip was designed to operate with the ADF5901 in the 24GHz ISM band of 24 to 24.25GHz , which is why we only specified the ADF5904 up to the same max frequency of 24.25Ghz, operating beyond this frequency is not supported, regards Brigid.
