.I just wanted to know about the Phase offset settings in the LO path. The ACE software doesn’t have any provision to set these values through block diagram, but the register 0x05 has been set at reset to 0x20 and 0x40 . Will this have effect on my LO signal path? What is the ideal value to be set in these registers if I don’t want to have any phase adjustment. I also wanted to know about giving the VCTRL externally. There is a capacitor C13 in the line of VCTRL. So, how do I give the DC voltage through the external pin. Kindly clarify my above mentioned queries.
Please see the ADMV1014 Userguide Labels Q1 and Q2 for register 0x05. You can use the default values if you do not want change these settings.

Thank you for the reply and the schematic. I wanted to operate the admv 1014 board without the spi controls. That is why I wanted to know the effect of those phase shift values in the register. Will it be possible to operate the 1014 Eval board without the SPI controls?
Since the ADMV1014 has a startup SPI sequence using the ADMV1014 board without the SPI controls would mean that there will differences in the performance compared to that shown in the Datasheet. You could still operate it but the performance will be different
