The two ADL5502-EVALZ boards have different behaviors.

We tested the behavior after purchasing 2 ADL5502-EVALZ boards about two weeks ago.

One board (A) seems to be working normally.

However, the other board (B) has an output of about 400mV, regardless of the input signal.

Is there a way to resolve these symptoms?

If not, is board B a bad product?

    Hello ele.yeon,

    ADL5502 is specified for operation from 450 MHz to 6 GHz. The device may or may not respond to the 50 MHz pulse train from a AWG.

    Do you have a RF signal generator available for the test? You could use the RF signal generator internal pulse generator option if so equipped, or you could use external modulator or external RF switch to perform the pulse gating function. Or, alternatively, use the AM Modulation function that is built-in to most analog RF signal generators.
