Is there a specific frequency and output power level that you are most interested in? We can generate various carrier bandwidths but may have do something in the 5 MHz range because we will probably have to filter the signal from the signal generator before applying it to the amp and mostly have 5 MHz cavity filters.
Thanks a lot for your quickly reply, sir.
I want to know the ACPR results of band 38 with 5, 10, 20 watt output power level, I think the 5MHz channle bandwith is okay. Do you have the ACPR results without the 5MHz cavity filters? just worry about adding 5MHz cavity fitler will affect the results. In additional, I also want to know the HMC1114LP5DE ACPR results of band 43 with same output power level and same channnle bandwidth. thank you very much.
I think that your power levels are a bit unrealistic. Or to put it another way, the ACP that you will get at these power levels will be very poor. 5 Watts is +37 dBm. A typical LTE carrier has a peak to average ratio of around 11 dB. So the peak power will be 48 dBm. HMC8500 has a PSAT of around 40 dBm and the PSAT of HMC1114 is around 42 dBm. Even if you are using DPD and crest factor reduction, I think that your target output powers are too close to the saturation point.
