Hi all, 

I have purchased an eval board for ADL5387 and trying to test it in a simple setup. I have a source generating a signal and it is split into two feeding LOP and RF. In theory, I should get some DC level out at I_HI and Q_HI, I'm getting nothing! What is the expected DC level from these ports? Any suggestions on how to get this board behaving?

    Hi AAmiri,

    The default configuration of the ADL5387 evaluation board uses a balun which is going to reject the DC component, thus you will get nothing out if RF=LO. To achieve DC output, you will need to bypass the balun as indicated in Table 4 on Page 25 of the datasheet. The nominal common mode voltage out is VPOS - 2.8V, and be sure to keep the load impedance above 200 ohms (see Page 17 of the datasheet).
