Could anyone provide the EV-RADAR-MMIC software source code? I am developping a 4159-5901-5904 RF test board which is similar to the EV-RADAR-MMIC2 evaluation board, and the RF test board will be used to evaluate the performance of my design. There is an SDP-B board in hand and I want to configure the RF test board with the SDP-B in futrue. However, after I connecting the SDP-B board to PC without a daughterboard, the software shows that 'An SDP system was found, but the daughterboard was not detected' and 'SDP connection failed'. On this conditon, I click 'Initialize ADF5901' button to write the registers, but there is no SPI signals on the conrresponding connector pins. Maybe the software is not able to write the registers if the connection fails. If the EV-RADAR-MMIC software source code is provided, some modifications can be done to write the registers though SDP connection fails which is resulted from no daughterboard included in the test sytsem.
You need to program the EEPROM on the daughter board so that the EV-RADAR-MMIC software recognizes it. I've sent you an email.
Can you provide EEPROM ID and instructions on how to program the EEPROM? I am in similar situation as @bitbad, but am using SDP-S board instead. Much appreciated.
Hi Brennan, May I also get the source codes and instructions as mentioned above? Am using SDP-S instead. Thank you!
Could I have access to these data to program an EEPROM for a custom board? I'm replicating the EV-RADAR-MMIC2 set.
