CN0565 - Problems with inicial setting

To install Libiio, run the .exe file from the zip folder of the latest Libiio release. Once installed, open your command terminal and install the Libiio bindings using pip with the following commands:

pip install pylibiio
pip install pyadi-iio

Could you please share a screenshot of the error you are encountering while trying to install Libiio?

Apologies for any confusion regarding Step 3. The necessary hex file for executing the Python example scripts has already been updated. Both links for the CN0565 Embedded Firmware now point to the same location.

About Libiio (2. Installing Libiio -> Download and install the latest release of libIIO -> Libiio Latest Release: here I download libiio-0.25-gb6028fd-windows.zip but I couldn't installed.

Inside the zip file there are 3 folders but none exe files work for installing Libiio for Windows 10.

I have no error in the installation because none of the exe's start the installation.

Could you share me a link with Libiio Instalation exe file?

Responding in the interest of reducing "timezone delay", mso is the CN0565 expert.

The libiio release page is a bit confusing - if you expand the "Show All 32 Assets" you'll find a link to:

github.com/.../libiio-0.25.gb6028fd-setup.exe

But I have a new problem:

Ah, I see the problem. Looks like pyadi-iio was last released on August 4, 2023:

Couple of options - if you have Git installed, you can clone the latest main branch. If not, download and extract the zip:

Then install by pip locally:

https://github.com/analogdevicesinc/pyadi-iio?tab=readme-ov-file#installing-from-source

(Don't forget the dot at the end of "pip install ."

I just tried this out on one of my test machines, note the version 0.0.17. And I just hit tab after typing "adi.cn", note that the cn0565 is there.

Successfully installed pyadi-iio-0.0.17 pylibiio-0.25

The communication is OK. But I have some (new) errors when tried to test cn0565_prod_tst.py

The first errors:
Fatal: program compiled against libxml 20 using libxml 2
Fatal: program compiled against libxml 20 using libxml 2
Warning: program compiled against libxml 2090 using older 209

Do these errors have any relation to the FAILED measurements?

I don't if I must create a new question for new this problem.

The error message appears unrelated to the failed measurements.

Could you let me know if any rework has been done on either of the two boards? Additionally, may I have the serial numbers of the boards?

About the serial number: How can I know? Can I access from some software?

EvalCN0565 arrived alone. The ADICUP3029 arrived when I bought the EvalAD5940BioZ.

Hi Antonio,

Upon checking the board that is shipped to you passed evaluation during the build process.

You may try repeating the Installing Software Requirements process and re-upload the hex file. After uploading, reset the EVAL-CN0565-ARDZ by either unplugging the board or pressing the on-board reset button on the ADICUP3029.
