CN0429 Temperature and humidity reading problem

Hi salihokur,

Without having investigated this myself, I would assume that the sensor readings are not accessible via the current software.  My guess would be that is a default value or perhaps some dummy data stuck in the memory location.

Akila  can you please have a look at the code mentioned here and see if you can determine the issue?

Hi Brandon,

I have solved the problem just following the same way people has done before by the instructions given in the link https://wiki.analog.com/resources/eval/user-guides/circuits-from-the-lab/cn0428-cn0429-programming-with-custom-firmware#software to reprogram chip firmware, and after that T/RH sensor started to read the temp and hum as expected. The question is why this problem occurs in a new device? This was solved 5 years ago. The technicians should have updated the firmware. Right?

In theory you would be right, but its going to depend on if those changes were every properly logged in our manufacturing workflow.  If what you are saying is true, than it looks like the software was updated "solving" the issue but never reflected in the manufacturing system, so they are still using an older version of the base CN0429 code.

I'll pass this along to those folks so that they can include it during the next build and I'm sorry for any trouble.  Can you send me a link to the version of the software that you updated too?

Your explanation is right. They should follow those discussions about their product, I guess. I had very similar problem related to CNO429 output format still posted. I have temporally solved already by myself and posted. Still no response so far.

The Installer is already can be found at ftp://ftp.analog.com/pub/MicroConverter/ADuCM355

• Download the latest version ADuCM355V2.1.054, extract the .zip archive, and open the .exe.
• The necessary example projects, drivers, and files will be installed. The working M355_CNO429 code is inside the example projects folder.
