CN-0510 EIS measurement - maximum allowed battery (DuT) voltage ?

Thread Summary

The user inquired about the maximum voltage of the battery that can be tested using the CN-0510 evaluation board. The final answer indicates that the EXC_P pin has a 10V limit and can handle up to 3A DC or 500mA at 3MHz AC. The AD5941 and CN0510 are the relevant products mentioned.

Hello,

I am wondering what is the maximum voltage of the battery we can test using the CN-0510 evaluation board. I have seen some users test small lithium cell batteries, but I cannot seem to find any value in the AD5941 or CN0510 data sheet or circuit note that indicates the maximum allowed battery (Device under Test) voltage.

For instance, I would like to make impedance measurements on a 8.4 volt lithium battery with the CN0510 evaluation board. Would that be possible ? And if so, what is the limit voltage ?

Thanks in advance,

Oleksiy
