How do I select the RC values for my design when using the AD8233?
The AD8232/AD8233 filter design software tool calculates the theoretical frequency response of both high-pass and low-pass filter configurations specific to the AD8232/3 architecture. The frequency response calculator helps to choose the right values for the external resistors and capacitors that will result in the desired frequency response.
2nd order effects are not taken into consideration in the tool. Not captured in the tool are the digital features, reference buffer and right leg drive amplifier. Using the evaluation board EVAL-AD8233 these filters can be easily implemented, to get more detail on the evaluation board download the user guide for the AD8233. Use the AD8233 software tool together with the evaluation board to prove out your specific design.
