What are MAX17616A startup conditions of programmable parameters

Accepted Answer

MAX17616A does not have a non-volatile memory to store any of the settings. 
 In each power cycle MAX17616A reverts to default values and an MCU/controller would load necessary settings. 
 
 If this is not preferable, we have MAX17617/MAX17617A which uses resistors to set the thresholds of the part.
