Can the EN pin on the MAX17608 be pulled up to the input voltage to eliminate the need for an external driver?

The EN pin is an active high input that enables the device when required. The devices are enabled or disabled through the EN pin by a master supervisory system; hence, offering a switch operation to turn on or turn off power delivery to connected load. You can use any supply for EN however keep in mind that Absolute maximum rating of EN pin is 6V and a recommended voltage is less than or equal to 4.5 V max.
