MAX25210 datasheet said that thermal shutdown threshold is 170degC but it’s higher than 150degC maximum junction temperature. Can MAX25210 maximum junction temperature be higher?

MAX25210 datasheet said that thermal shutdown threshold is 170degC but it’s higher than 150degC maximum junction temperature.  Can MAX25210 maximum junction temperature be higher?

The silicon maximum junction temp can be 170 but our EC table only guarantees up to 150C. 
All the numbers in EC table is up to 150C but if the junction reach 170, there is no issue except violating EC table specs.
