Q: Can MAX20098 switchover feature be used to power BIAS from an external supply connected to OUT?
A: It is not possible to power BIAS from an external supply from OUT pin. The OUT pin is used for current sensing and would disrupt the current sense function. Only the regulated output voltage from MAX20098 should be connected to OUT.
