I tried to use the EE SIM Tool to simulate MAX17557 but I get an error message saying. "There was an error while creating your design. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please try again."

A general good idea when problems like this happen with any site is to clear the browser cache.  First close all instances of the browser.  Then re-open the browser.  Then follow the instructions below for Chrome or Firefox. 
 
For Chrome this is done as follows:
 
  1. Click on the thee dots in the upper right
  1. Click on More Tools
  2. Click on Clear Browsing Data
  3. Make sure only “Cached images and files” is checked
  1. Click on Clear Data
 
For Firefox, this is done as follows:
 
  1. Click on History
  2. Click on Clear Recent History.
  3. In the box that appears (see below) make sure only Cache is checked
 
  1. Click on Clear Now
