By default, DC-DC conversion is disabled for input voltages below 6V due to the default VIN_ON (0x35) and VIN_OFF (0x36) thresholds. To enable MAX15303 for standalone operation at input voltages below 6V, the VIN_ON and VIN_OFF thresholds must be reprogrammed during production using command codes 0x35 (VIN_ON) and 0x36 (VIN_OFF).
