What is the maximum inductor value for the MAX17220?
The maximum recommended inductor size to use with the MAX17220 is 4.7uH. The concern with using an inductor bigger than 4.7uH is that the output voltage ripple will be very small, so the part is likely to exhibit pulse grouping. This may actually end up increasing the output noise.
