ADM13305-4 WDI floating detection conditions

Have you tried removing the tri-state buffer and leave WDI pin floating, to check if the WDT function will be disabled?

If the tri-state buffer is removed to WDI pin, the WDT function is disable.

Additional information:

1) Vdd is 3.3V.

2) The leakage current specification of the connected buffer was ±10uA.The WDT function is disabled for the ADM13305-4 connected to other Tri-state Buffer. The leakage current of this buffer was ±10uA as well.

When the WDI is taken out of the floating state to either high or low, the WDI will require to be toggled so the Reset will not be asserted.

In this case, does the WDI pin (connected to a tri-state buffer) is in high impedance state during start up? Also, may I request for a schematic?

The WDI pin is  Hi-Z at Start up.

The schematic is as follows.

Please let me know the conditions under which the WDI pin is recognized as Hi-Z.
Voltage range, connected load, etc.

Sorry for the delayed in response.

WDT function will be disabled once the WDI pin is Hi-Z at Start-up and no other conditions needed for this part. Just the input for WDI pin.

May I know what tri-state buffer is connected to the WDI pin?
