Hi,
I have a race condition for my reset and I am looking for solutions
So I have a SOM and a MCU connected together in the system
The MCU reset lines are connected to the SOM for firmware updating
The Som power is controlled by A gpio from the MCU
When the SOM is power cycled it can reset the MCU which is not wanted.
This could also cause the SOM from power cycling
I want to avoid to adding pull up resistor as this may cause back powering
I am thinking of putting some kind of IC that requires a pin to held in a particular state for duration before it resets.
Are there particular IC's that would do this?
are there types of IC's that would be better suited for this application
