Hello.
I am using the ADM707 to generate a reset signal for the CPU.
I hope this device will be RESETd with PFI input protection in place.
However, I had a problem when I implemented the schematics described in the ADM705 / ADM706 / ADM707 / ADM708 datasheets.
The data sheet shows the figure below.
However, if the following circuit is mounted on a custom board and the power is turned on,
The sequence is as follows and it seems that RESET is not released.
① #RESET is LOW
② PFI input is limited to around 0.3V
③ #PFO is LOW
④ #MR is LOW
⇒ Return to ①
Removing the diode limiting the PFI input voltage solves this problem and releases RESET, but I don't think PFI input protection is achieved.
I want the RESET to be released with PFI input protection in place
Any good ideas on what to do?
