ADM809T testing question

Hi Kevin,

As the threshold of the devices are all tested during production test, it’s unlikely an issue with the device.

I would advise the customer to check the grounding of the scope, try measure ADM811’s VCC and RESET by referencing the scope ground to ADM811’s ground pin.

Could you take the part off the board and only test by itself and see if the threshold is correct?

As the part only has 3 pins and a push-pull type output, this should be relatively easy.

If you still see the threshold being wrong, i'd suggest to return the part for failure analysis.

also, have you checked the marking on the part? just to be sure there is no mixing of the devices.

PCB would be ideal, but you could just solder a piece of thin wire directly to the pins.

That is weird. We tested with another brand that wont having this kind of operation at the scope ground to ground pin.

yep , I confirm the marking that is right. cuz I still tested ADM809S at the same time.
