LTC7878 on Analog.com
Hello Admins,
I am currently designing some power stage circuits using the LTC7878 and would love to use LTpowerCAD as a design guide. However, it looks like this specific part number is not currently available in the component library.
Could you please let me know if there are plans to add LTpowerCAD support for the LTC7878 in the near future? Alternatively, is there a standalone Excel design calculator available for this part that you could share? This would save me some development time in place of using the LT Spice Model.
Thank you for your help!
Hi,
Agree this is odd as the product landing page notes the LTC7878 is available in LTpowerCAD.
I noted on EZ a question asking when it will be in LTpowerCAD and that was back in 2023.
Thus, looks like we never completed this and are only using LTspice for modeling.
I'll ask the team just to be sure.
Best Regards,
Chris
Thanks for checking on this! It's good to know I wasn't just missing an update.I appreciate you digging into it.
If LTpowerCAD support is still pending, I'd highly appreciate it if you could ask the team if a standalone Excel design calculator exists that you could share. It would really speed up my design process compared to just using LTspice. Considering its recommended for new designs, i think this will really improve ease of use.
Looking forward to hearing what the team says!
Hi,
The LTpowerCAD noted the they are still working on the LTC7878 file and it will release soon.
Check for updates to see when it's available.
