Use of only one output

Thread Summary

The user is developing a new version of an existing board and wants to keep the power supply for the CPU (using the second output of LTC3884-1) while removing the first output. The final answer confirms that holding RUN1 low will disable the first output, allowing the use of only RUN0 and OUT0.

Hi, I am developing new version of existing board, I have to keep power supply for CPU as it is to keep SW compatibility. LTC3884-1 (second output of LTC3884-1) is used for CPU, but  I do not need any more other power supply generated originally with this LTC3884-1 (first output of LTC3884-1). Is it ok if I just remove  power components (MOSFETs, Indutor, shunt, output capacitorsor) this supply from the layout and disable this  output with low RUN1 on pin 17?
