Hi, I am developing new version of existing board, I have to keep power supply for CPU as it is to keep SW compatibility. LTC3884-1 (second output of LTC3884-1) is used for CPU, but I do not need any more other power supply generated originally with this LTC3884-1 (first output of LTC3884-1). Is it ok if I just remove power components (MOSFETs, Indutor, shunt, output capacitorsor) this supply from the layout and disable this output with low RUN1 on pin 17?
Hi pezic,
A great idea to reuse a controller that you've already take time to prove out as we all know how challenging power designs can be.
I checked with the factory team and they noted you can hold RUN1 Low to only use RUN0 and OUT0.
