Many of the LTM micro modules can be configured as an inverter to generate a negative voltage from a positive supply, and usually there are some example circuits given for how this should be set up.
However, there is no inverting example circuit for the LTM8083.
In LTspice, if I take the example circuit and minimally re-configure it for inverting output as below, it does appear to work well.
Would this circuit (attached and also shown in the image below) also work reliably in practice? Or are there some issues with this circuit?
What kind of de-rating or performance limitation would apply, usually the inverting configuration can output less power?
