LTM4632 both outputs as separate VTT rails

Category: Datasheet/Specs
Product Number: LTM4632

Hello,

I am considering using the two outputs of the LTM4632 as two separate VTT rails. I think this would work if I tie FB1 to to INTVCC, but I wanted to double check.

It would be even better if ADI has a single channel, sink/source, tracking regulator that can be used for DDR4 VTT applications that has an maximum input voltage 15V or greater. I wasn't able to find the perfect solution. I essentially want to find a cross of IR3897.

Thanks,
Nino

  • Hi Nino,

Here are few options to look into to repalce the IR3897:

    Closest functional successor MAX17639
    Lowest EMI / RF‑safe LT8609A
    Digital / PMBus upgrade MAX20810
    Fastest, lowest-risk power rail LTM4631 / LTM4686

Take a look at these options and let me know if they would be a better fit, or if the LTM4632 is still your #1 choice.
