Product Number: LT3042
Is there an upper limit for RLIM for the LT3042 and the LT3045? The datasheets of the LT3042 and LT3045 do not specify a maximum value for RLIM (or minimum current limit). The "ILIM Pin Current" curve in the LT3042 datasheet starts at 20mA, but the same curve starts at 0mA in the LT3045 datasheet. Should I use the LT3045 instead of LT3042 for a current limit of, say, 2mA? In LTspice, both devices behave the same way when configured for a current limit of 2mA, except for the minimum required output capacitance. I'd prefer the lower minimum required output capacitance of the LT3042, though.
