Hi,
Recently I have been using the LTC4359 as a way to switch between 2 power supply, the system is shown in the first picture.
I want to use the LTC4359 as described in the datasheet and shown in the second picture, however whilst using LTC4359 the Q2A and Q2B always fails and the MOSFETs burn regardless of the MOSFETs SOA(Safe Operating Area) and the load on the power side.
I have almost tested everything and taken into consideration different load regardless if the load is inductive or simple resistive the Q2A and Q2B MOSFETs always short out.
Is there a way to make the circuit work as intended? Or is this a limitation of the device/wrong use of the device?
Also if possible can you kindly provide a detailed description on MOSFET selection for robust operation and ensure the device works as intended?
