Dear all, good morning.
I'm finalizing a design based on the LT3081 / LT3091 couple.
In my design, those are supposed to be back to back mounted on the same heatsink. Electrically isolated of course (as LT3081's tab is connected to the OUT+, while the LT3091's tab is connected to the IN-).
While checking everything, I've just one doubt: shall I need to physically electrically connect the Tabs to the PCB's Out+ / In- (respectively for LT3081 / LT3091) ? Or can I leave them electrically isolated, as I am thinking ? (attached to heatsink).
I read in fact that the Tabs are electrically internally connected to Out+ / In- , so I assume they can be left not electrically connected.
I mean, any issue if I take the Output from the 3081's Pin 4 (only), and if I feed the 3091 through Pin 4 (Only) ?
